New Website for eBooks

Wow, I found this new website for eBooks.

My good friend Vicki Lieske (author of Not What She Seems and The Gathering) put this site together so ebook readers could find good books. The simplicity is one of the best parts. Easy to read and search, you can find whatever you are looking for.

If you are interested in putting your book up just read the requirements (there aren't many) and follow the directions.

If you're interested in finding a good story there are already quite a lot of books listed and the links where you can order.

The site is easy to follow and I like the plain way each book is explained and things like bad language and sex are revealed so there aren't any surprises once I get the book downloaded.

I'm hoping to have my first book (Two Days of a Dream) on this site by the first of the year, 2012.

Idea for my book cover

What do you think of the idea my daughter came up with for my upcoming book. We can't use the photos but the idea really captured the book. I am so thrilled! Now if we can just find some photos we can use then I'm almost set. Now I need a line editor as my book is in BETA and soon (fingers crossed) I'll need a final, professional edit.

Women's Clothing Sucks

Why is it I can go to any men's clothing department and buy my husband a pair of slacks 38x29. No problem and there are 6 colors to choose from. I walk into any women's clothing department and the only sizes I can find are short and fat, two colors if I'm lucky. Why can't I buy women's slacks, 36x34 just like a man can? My oldest daughter is 5'4" and all the slacks are too long. I'm 5'10" and they are all too short! I can't find any of the major department stores that have Tall departments for women any more. I haven't looked through a women's clothing catalog that had true tall sizes. 32" in seams are now average for women not TALL.

To top it off I can't find anything made in the USA. It's all made in China and Indonesia which is probably why its all too short.

Don't even get me started on the fact that all the women's slacks are Low Risers! No one over a size 4 or 2% body fat should wear Low Risers! It must have been a man that hates women that designed the awful things.

Am I the only one that has this trouble?
